Hi!
I'm Capt. Fred Rossiter. If you're visiting the Ft.
Myers area, I'd like to invite you, your friends and
family to a great day of fishing or sightseeing. Hey,
it's a Paradise down here! There's lots to see and
do. The waters are warm and run every shade of
blue and turquoise, the white sand beaches are
among the best in the world, the palm trees are
beautiful and the people are friendly. The
fishing is great too!!
We fish near shore (near the beach), near offshore,
inshore and back country. The waters are protected.
No one gets sea sick. We catch lots of different fish:
redfish, snook, seatrout, tarpon, sheepshead,
snapper, grouper, cobia, shark, ladyfish, bluefish,
bonita, mackerel and others. We can generally
catch something for your dinner table too!
If you're not an avid fisherman, there's still plenty to see and do. We'll take you out on an Eco Tour to see the sights. We'll see a lot of Dolphin, shore birds, manatee and maybe an alligator or two. We can take your kids on a Treasure Hunt or go on a "jungle walk" across a sub tropical island to a pristine, secluded beach and wade in the surf or collect sea shells. We have the best shelling beaches in Florida! You might want to stop at Cabbage Key or Barancle Phils for lunch or we can take you to Boca Grande; a magnificent island where the billionaires live and play. Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island, has a small village full of NICE gift and clothing shops. Once there, the mode of transportation is golf cart or walking. There's a great old hotel to see, a lighthouse and museum, gorgeous beaches and homes and quaint little restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a super Ice Cream Store too. It's a short 30 minute boat ride to the island.
If you have kids, you need to know that I am a "Certified Kid Specialist"! I love taking kids fishing! Nothing is more fun than helping small kids catch snapper or ladyfish or big kids tying into their first Tarpon!
Let me show your kids some of the magical wonders of the sea. Kids want to learn about the mysterious creatures that inhabit our ocean. We need to teach them to become good stewards of our marine enviornments.
Families and kids are welcome on my boat any day! If you're staying at South Seas Island Resort, we can pick you up there.
